An Introduction.

Hi everyone, welcome to my section of the In Your Skin Team's blog.

I make up the 3rd part of the team, and will be working alongside the other three girls to bring to you encouragement, words of wisdom and generally make you feel better about being in your skin! xx

5th July 2012 - Exercise in Finsbury Park

Today the girls and I woke up early this morning to go to the outdoor gym in Finsbury Park.
It was a real sacrifice because I know that if I had decided to stay in Luton and exercise by myself I would  not have done it. So I got the train down to Finsbury Park and met up with the other two members of the IYS Team.

I knew I would enjoy it because I was with others and I'm so glad that I went. We used each equipment for 10 mins so that we had done at least an hour of exercise. Before we started we warmed up by jogging to a tree and back 5 times. We took it in turns going one by one. Then we did the usual stretches and we were off.

I thought it would be so embarrassing, but other people were there too and they were too busy focused on exercising to worry about us youths laughing, as we complained how hard the workout was.

To be comfortable in your own skin, it would help if you looked the part. So be sure to make exercise a part of your life. It does hurt, but it doesn't kill and soon enough it will be no problem for you to run for the bus without gasping for breath.

A Little Hello.

Well everyone, this is my first post as part of the In Your Skin Team. It's just a little introduction, but I'm here to say hi to you all.

I make up the 3rd part of the team, and will be working alongside the other three girls to bring to you encouragement, words of wisdom and generally make you feel better about being in your skin!

I know what it's like not to feel comfortable about what you look like, and resent your features. But let me tell you that you are beautiful. Forget how other people look at you or what they think about you. That's not what should matter. When you are confident with yourself, you will ooze this confidence. And when other people notice this confidence in you, it won't matter what's physically wrong with you or what you have just imagined isn't perfect about yourself. People will see who you really are and respect who you are as a person. So be confident and comfortable in your own skin! ;)
